Andrew and Beth have spearheaded community organizations and fundraisers that support conservation and education.

Oleoducto volunteer services

We founded OVS to protect and restore the world-famous pipeline road and biological corridor in Soberania National Park ensuring research scientists and visitors and scientists with access to the park. OVS is also on call for emergency rescues.

Gamboa Discovery School

We founded a community-based elementary school in Panama with the mission to promote scientific inquiry and understanding of the natural world through collaboration with research scientists and outdoor learning. 

Hog Charge

Now an in its second decade , we created this international sporting event that raises millions of dollars for and awareness of the challenges faced by competing forces: developers, wild spaces, farming and also provides excellent outdoor educational activity for children (map reading and orienteering), connecting them directly to the land.
